Rev. Ron Freyer-Nicholas, OSL, was a member of FBC until he was called to Pilgrims' as pastor. (His ordination is recognized by ABC, CBF, UCC, and the Alliance of Baptists.)
Pilgrims' was founded in 1990 as an affiliate of the UCC but intentionally open and welcoming to members from ABCUSA, PCUSA, Disciples of Christ, ELCA, United Church of Canada, CBF, the Alliance of Baptists, and other denominations that do not have a large representation in this area.
